Application methods

As the distribution of moisture cannot be clearly seen with the naked eye and/or by hand, such damage should be taken care of by a specialist company, as only they have the necessary measuring equipment. The refurbishment of older buildings raises a variety of problems that need to be investigated and localized by a competent damage analysis. This also applies to new buildings if a proper initial seal was not installed immediately.

Old, loose plaster with salts is approx. 50 cm above the visible moisture removed. Depending on the structural condition, the required drill holes are drilled according to the CavaStop 300 application instructions, then the drill holes are cleaned if necessary and the cartridges are filled with CavaStop 300. After complete emptying, the cartridges are removed and the drill holes can be sealed again with cement mortar or similar.

Through a balanced composition of different components such as impregnating agents, special resins, natural resins, oils, we meet all the above requirements with CavaStop 300 capillary water barriers, i.e. an almost non-rotting synthetic resin rubber insulation layer that becomes impermeable to water in the short term.

Does not harden

It should be noted that after the reaction, CavaStop 300 becomes a gel-like, eraser-resistant mass and thus a permanently elastic, hydrophobic barrier layer against rising and laterally penetrating moisture. It is not a silicification that mineralizes or hardens!

Good applicability

CavaStop 300 can be processed down to a temperature of -20°C. It can also be used on all mineral building materials and is therefore suitable for clinker, brick, porous brick, aerated concrete, concrete, sand-lime brick, natural stone (quarry stone) and other walls.
