CavaStop300 can be used on all mineral building materials and is therefore suitable for clinker, brick, porous brick, aerated concrete, concrete, sand-lime brick, natural stone (quarry stone) and other walls.

CavaStop300 is a German quality product which was successfully tested for effectiveness at the official materials testing institute in Hanover in 1991. It has also been WTA certified for years (the WTA certificate is updated every 2 years).

The product CavaStop300 has been used successfully for over 35 years! So far there are no signs of rotting or water permeability. In addition, CavaStop300 shows no restrictions or negative reactions with the known harmful salts such as sulphates, nitrates, chlorides, carbonates etc., so salt efflorescence is not further promoted.

The effect of CavaStop300 is immediate after injection, but CavaStop300 has a delayed reaction time of approx. 6 – 12 weeks and therefore remains creepable in the masonry and, thanks to its optimum composition and low density, penetrates into the finest hair capillaries.

The time required for the CavaStop300 to run out depends on the local conditions, e.g. the degree of moisture penetration and temperatures of the masonry and any cavities it may contain, as well as the type and condition of the masonry. (e.g. Cavstop300 is absorbed within a few minutes with hollow bricks. With other masonry or very high moisture penetration of up to 90-95%, it can take a few days). The CavaStop300 cartridge should only be removed when the required quantity has run out.

Due to its low density of approx. 0.806 (g/cm³ at 20°C), the injection agent CavaStop300 is absorbed into the smallest hair capillaries. CavaStop300 does not harden, it remains permanently elastic and thus shows its full effect even with further stresses such as environmental vibrations (road traffic or similar) as well as with settling movements during the drying phase. There are currently no signs of rotting.

Salt-contaminated or loose plaster should always be removed up to approx. 50-80 cm above the measurable moisture on the masonry. If the plaster has not been removed, the drying time may be delayed. In addition, the old plaster must be replaced with a suitable restoration plaster.

No, the drill holes do not need to be sealed. However, they can be sealed with cement mortar or similar (no plaster) after the cartridges have completely run out. (But this is not a must, the holes can also remain open)

CavaStop300 can be processed down to temperatures of – 20°C, but please note that low temperatures will delay the drying out phase and possibly the shrinkage.

CavaStop300 can also be injected into masonry with up to 90-95% moisture penetration, so you do not need to pre-dry the masonry before use. (CavaStop300 is not suitable against pressing water).

No cavity filling is required for the application of CavaStop300, but if the planner or builder wishes to do so, there is nothing to prevent this additional effort.

Finishing work, such as applying restoration plaster or sealing the drill holes, can be carried out immediately after injecting CavaStop300.
